The Rites are similar to Warrior Assessments and akin to the Tribe cats Rites of Passage, in which is when a apprentice is ready to become a warrior. Each clan has different rites for their cats and requires an apprentice to perform a certain task.
Between the spiky rocks under the Great Ledge hides a cave entrance that leads to a water filled tunnel. At the end of the tunnel is an underwater cave within the ridge. Small holes in the back of the cave allow light in, which light up a brilliant white crystal. The crystal has become known as the Snowtree, because it has small sections that look like the branches of a pine.
Apprentices ready for their rites of passage will be escorted by their mentors and the leader. The escorts will wait on the shore while the rites is underway. Apprentices must start on the shore an maneuver their way through the spiked rocks to reach the mouth of the tunnel. Then swim quickly through the tunnel to reach the open cave where the Snowtree stands. They must then break off, or pick up an already broken small piece of the crystal and return to the surface. The swim can be treacherous due to large predatory birds that fly around the Great Ridge and a fish, large enough to eat fully grown cats, that lurks in the deep waters surrounding the tunnel's entrance. Drowning in the tunnel is also a possibility though it has yet to happen, cats can hold their breath long enough to make the swim. The tunnel has a slight current pushing in towards the cave, so the swim back out will be more difficult.
Rules: To be deemed a success, the rper must have four posts. One post of the travel to the shore. Two posts for retrieving a piece of crystal, one of the journey to the Snowtree, and the second for the journey back to shore. The last post will be their return to camp. If the piece of Snowtree is lost in the water, the rites will be deemed a failure and the apprentice may try again in another moon.
The Rite of Passage of Streamclan is comprised of three sections. Apprentices ready for their rite of passage will be escorted to the Firefly Grove by the leader and their respective mentors. Once there, they are given instructions that they must remember. In Firefly Grove they are to find a seed each. This represents Ceri and the beginning of new life. Once each of them have found a seed and only once they have may they begin their journey towards Split Spruce. They must use their wits and skills to find their way there safely. If they reach Split Spruce, they must spend the night there and only move off once the sun has fully risen above the horizon. This represents Cern. The cats must survive the night and hunt for their evening meal around what the cats of Streamclan see as a cursed place. It takes guts and dedication, two qualities that a warrior of Streamclan should possess.
As soon as the sun rises above the horizon, they must set off again, still holding their seeds towards the Abandoned Mines. Once again, they must find their way using their skills. Upon reaching the entrance marked by three stones stacked on top of each other, they must enter the mines. Traversing through the windy dark tunnels, they must find their way towards where sunlight streams down through a hole in the roof of the mines, allowing grass and plants to grow. This area is now a tribute as it is where the four cats fell down allowing the discovery of the mines. Once they have found it, they must plant their seeds in the grass surrounding the tribute and pay their respects by praying to The Ancestors with what they are most thankful for. This represents Nemi as despite them paying tribute, by planting a seed each they are renewing nature and thus restarting the natural cycle of life that they believe in. Once this is complete, the leader will come to them and lead them back to camp where their ceremonies will be held at nightfall.
Rules: To be deemed a success, the rper must have four posts in which they traveled to each of the locations and completed the required tasks. One for the journey to the Firefly Grove and their finding of a seed. One for their journey to Split Spruce and the hunting for their meal. One for the overnight stay at Split Spruce and the journey to the Abandoned Mines and one for traversing through the mines and planting their seed and paying tribute. If the apprentice loses their seed at any point of the rite, it will be seen as a failure and they will have to wait another moon to try again.

The Rite of Passage within Summitclan vary. Usually, when a apprentice is ready, their mentor or leader will decide which rite the young cat will face. Which Creator this young soon to be warrior fits to serve under the best. However, it is also optional for the apprentice to choose their rite challenge to make a preference over which Creator they wished to earn their warrior name with. There are rites for almost every Creator, and with them, their own names.
Rules: To be deemed a success, the rper must have four posts. One heading to their rite, two for completing the rite, and one for returning to camp.
The Rite Of Sun and Moon
In order to receive the greatest honor of any cat could get by being given the name from the Origin Creators, Sun and Moon, a apprentice must climb to the peak of Creator Mountain. It is said Creators Sun and Moon will speak to them, saying a specific phrase that only the Kings and Queens know about. The task is considered successful once the apprentice returns to the leader and recites what Creators Sun and Moon have spoken. However, many ambitious apprentices have died from attempting this treacherous journey. The cold is biting, the ground slippery, and the drop deadly. Only experienced coordinated, strong, balanced climbers should even attempt this if they want to have a chance to survive.
Warning:
This trial is very limited as it is not often that cats are able to be successful in this trial. Many who attempt die. Cats who do no have climbing, strength and coordination/balance in positive skills will fail if attempted.
