Blizzardstar ✬ Tom ✬ Summitclan "What is the point in being a King if you don't understand those who follow you?" "Perhaps, but two pairs of eyes is better than one and Stonepaw is a smart cat. I'm sure he'll listen to Ravenwhisper during this important situation." Blizzardstar mewed, as he thought about his apprentice. Perhaps the young cat could be a little mischievous, but he did love to hide. Plus, if they get into too much trouble, Ravenwhisper can send Stonepaw for backup of sorts.
Taking a breath, the massive black and silver tom glanced to Owlgaze for a moment as the brown cat tried to comfort him. Giving a smile, he nodded in appreciation. "Thank you Owlgaze, you're right. The Creators are with us and the clan will stand together. We'll send whatever this is back where it came from. Or by Creator Sun and Moon's names, send it into Creator Silence's claws." he mewed, his icy gaze flicking toward Heronpaw.
When did he join them?
The King of the Mountain must not have noticed. Oh well, it was good for the young cat to come along with experienced warriors. However, the young cat also seemed a bit concerned, causing the massive king to give a reassuring purr.
"Indeed, this predator seems to be extremely dangerous. Big, and easily took down one of the toughest prey the mountain has to offer. But I have faith Summitclan will be able to handle whatever this is. However Heronpaw, be sure you do not leave camp without a warrior. Tell the other apprentices as well. It isn't safe to be out on your own." Blizzardstar instructed. template by Sammy @ Adox 2.0

Owlgaze
Tom | Summitclan | |
"You were put on this earth to achieve your greatest self, to live out your purpose, and to do it courageously." His attention snapped over to the young apprentice. He was so quiet Owlgaze hardly noticed him. "We should head back. I'd rather not run into whatever it is, with just the three of us." Though he was more concerned about the other two than himself. Blizzardstar was their leader, though a strong cat, if anything happened to him the only cat left who is able to take the throne would be Blizzardstar's sister. Heronpaw surely wasn't ready for this kind of fight. The apprentice was still young and he had a lot to learn.
He turned to Blizzardstar, trying to contain his concern. "Should we do some hunting on the way back? The fresh kill pile looked rather shabby before we left."

Heronpaw - Apprentice of Summitclan
When Heronpaw heard Blizzardstar praise Stonepaw like that he couldn't help but feel the sting of jealousy. He disliked the quiet apprentice who always seemed to act above him. He was older of course, but still. Heronpaw would rather be called smart himself. He was placated however - well, at least a little bit - when Blizzardstar started talking to him. He nodded diligently, feeling proud to be given the task of informing the other apprentices. Even if it was just a small one, he was still carrying an important message directly from the leader of the clan. "Yes, of course I will, Blizzardstar."
The apprentice turned back to Owlgaze, when the tabby tom raised his voice. He nodded, confirming his mentors words. "Owlgaze is right, it was definitely not enough to feed the whole clan." The hunting patrol once again had come back to the camp with very little prey. Heronpaw had observed that this seemed to happen more and more often lately. Although he still felt concern tug at his innards, he wanted to look brave and do what was best for the clan. And he reallyreally felt like hunting something right now, preferable something big that would earn himself admiring gazes when he'd bring it into the camp.

Blizzardstar ✬ Tom ✬ Summitclan "What is the point in being a King if you don't understand those who follow you?" As the two other cats seemed eager about a hunt, the large tom pondered over it before nodding. "Alright, we will try to hunt a bit. Hopefully there is still something left for us. If we could find a hawk, it would feed us for a little bit at least." the massive tom mewed before starting to pad along. Powerful paws gripping the stone beneath him as he climbed up a large stone, navigating the rocky terrain with ease.
Raising his nose, he opened his mouth to taste the air, ears perking as he listened closely. Perhaps Petal Hills would be better? Maybe the predator hadn't hunted the rabbits and mice so much. It was then he heard it. The flapping of wings.
Flicking his fluffy tail downwards, signally for his clanmates to get low, he pressed his body low and waited. Slowly, he peaked over the rock as the flapping ceased and spotted a large hawk. Flicking his tail left, then right, signaling for the others to flank it for a ambush. Slowly he padded closer, slower then his teammates would be as he awaited for them to get into position before he launched.
His massive form flying toward the large bird, it squaked in alarm as it started to take off. Little too late as Blizzardstar's claws raked against its back, his heavy weight dragging it back and stunting its speedy take off. It squawked and hollered in alarm as if whirled in a attempt to try and peck at the annoying cat. template by Sammy @ Adox 2.0
